Published: ANCHORAGE, Ala. - A series of explosive eruptions at Alaska's Mt. Redoubt southwest of Anchorage have disrupted travel across the state including in the Nome area where hundreds of volunteers from the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race are stranded.
